The NoMi Future City (2045) Comprehensive Plan was adopted by City Council on November 14, 2023, after multiple public hearings going back to November 2022.

The Comprehensive Plan reflect changes in statutory requirements that have occurred since the document was last updated as well as focusing on the City's current priorities, including:

1. Community Health and Wellness (integrated into many of the Plan's elements and also included as a new stand-alone element)

2. Technology Infrastructure and Access (threaded through several elements but highlighted in the Infrastructure Element)

3. Housing Affordability (interwoven through several elements but highlighted in the Housing Element) and

4. Environmental Protection and Cliimate Change Response (emphasized in the many elements but particularly in the Future Land Use, Conservation, and Climate Change Elements)

*Note that this set of documents does not reflect the intended final format of the Comprehensive Plan. To facilitate state and regional agency review, these documents are presented in plain format, with additions shown as underlined text and deletions shown as stricken-through text. Following the completion of the state review, the final document will be laid out in its definitive graphic format, and translated into both Haitian Creole and Spanish.
